  • Who can attend Multimodal?

    Multimodal is a trade event dedicated to anyone who works in the supply chain, trucking and logistics industries. We celebrate logistics in all its forms. Entry is free of charge.

  • When and where is Multimodal 2026 being held?

    Multimodal will take place in Hall 4 at the NEC Birmingham on Tuesday 30th June to Thursday 2nd July.

  • What are the opening times?

    Tuesday – 10.00 am to 5.00 pm

    Wednesday - 10.00 am to 7.00 pm (free networking event - Multimodal Mixer from 5.00 – 7.00 pm)

    Thursday – 10.00 am to 3.00 pm

  • Is it free to attend Multimodal?

    Yes, Multimodal is free to attend as are all the conference sessions and the Multimodal Mixer networking event on the second evening.

  • How do I register?

  • When will I receive my visitor badge?

    Once you have registered for your free pass, you will be sent an email confirming your registration and details on how to download your printable e-badge. We recommend printing your badge in advance to save having to queue on the day.

  • What if I forget to bring my e-badge?

    Not a problem - just head to the registration desk situated at the main entrances of Hall 4. The registration staff will then locate your details and issue you with your visitor badge.

  • Can I register when I arrive?

    Yes, if you have not pre-registered, you can register on arrival. It is far easier to pre-register in advance and download your e-badge, which will save you from queueing to complete your full registration upon arrival.

  • Is parking available at the venue?

  • How can I book accommodation near the venue?

    Select from a range of hotels via our official partner, Eventbeds and enjoy discounted rates.

  • Are children allowed into Multimodal?

    Multimodal is a trade show and children under the age of 16 are not permitted. There are no creche or childminding facilities at the venue so please do not bring children or babies.

  • Are students allowed to attend the exhibition?

    Students aged 16+ will be allowed to enter the exhibition with prior permission from the organiser and as a chaperoned group. Students under the age of 16 years are not permitted.   • Are there disabled facilities at the venue?

    The venue is suitable for wheelchair access. There is disabled car parking opposite the hall entrance near Hall 5 and you must display a blue badge to park in this area. For more information about disabled access, please view the NEC website.

  • Is there a cloakroom for bags and coats?

    There is a cloakroom adjacent to Hall 4 where visitors can store bags, coats and luggage. Overnight storage is not available.

  • Where can I eat?

    There are restaurants open during the shows within Hall 4. In addition, the Piazza area outside Halls 4 and 5 offer several restaurants and snack outlets.

  • Is there wifi?

    Visitors to the NEC can connect to free wifi across the venue.

  • Is there a prayer room?

    The NEC has a Multi-Faith Prayer Room available for prayer, reflection or meditation - located in the Piazza (Halls 1-5) next to the chaplaincy office (by Subway). It has a washing facility, prayer mats, holy books and other resources for prayer which have been donated by representatives of local faiths.

  • How can I exhibit at Multimodal?

  • When and where are the Multimodal Awards held?

    The Awards take place on the first evening of Multimodal in The Vox at Resorts World. Find out more here.

  • When and where is the Multimodal Mixer?

    The Mixer will take place in Hall 4 on Wednesday 1st July 2025 from 17.00 to 19.00 and is free for everyone to attend. Find out more here.

  • I’m having problems registering

  • VISA letters for visitors

    We do not provide Visa letters to visitors to the events.

    A Visa Support Letter will ONLY be issued to SPEAKERS and EXHIBITORS who have been invited by the Multimodal team, or who have paid their exhibition registration fee in full. Please reach out to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

    If you need a visa to attend Multimodal, it is essential that you begin the application process as soon as possible in order for you obtain your visa in time for the show.

    You must submit your own application to the relevant authority and follow up accordingly. Multimodal is unable to follow up on your application on your behalf or enter into direct correspondence with consulates.

    Once we have confirmed receipt of payment from the proposed attendee, we will need the full name, nationality, passport number, issue and expiry date, date of birth and full company name and postal address. Only then can we issue a Visa Support Letter. The Visa Support Letter will confirm the event title, date and location. It will not imply any undertaking to provide funding nor act as a financial guarantee for your stay in the UK. Multimodal reserve the right not to issue a Visa Support Letter in certain cases even if the above conditions have been met. Exhibition Fees will not be refunded in the case of a Visa not being obtained.
