‘Simpex Freight Management Limited’ was formed in 2009, later becoming ‘Simpex Express Limited’ but more widely referred to now as just ‘Simpex’.

Conceived as an Express Freight carrier to and from all areas of the UK and Europe, Simpex was born from a belief that freight transport could be done better, and specifically through better communication and planning intelligence.

This is why we’ve seen such growth in the years since 2009. We opened our Leeds office which delivers excellent Europe-wide groupage, part and full load consignments by road, plus deep sea export and import, and global air freight services too.

We expanded further with the acquisition of our sister company, Samphire Cargo in 2019 ahead of Brexit. Located right by the port of Dover, they provide specialist documentation and customs declaration services for European and rest-of-the-world shipments. Their expertise covers all areas of road, sea and air freight, and this has proved invaluable for EU trade since the beginning of 2021 especially.

We’re as successful as we are because of our planning intelligence. We have an extremely high attention to detail and apply this in our decision-making when planning collections, deliveries and consoldiations. We’ll notice the finer points on your instructions and over time you’ll learn to completely trust us. Our team is experienced enough to spot potential problems in advance and act before it’s too late. We’ll also raise important questions from the outset and consider solutions to any risks beforehand.
