Headquartered in Calais, this port complex is made up of the two largest players in the French port landscape in terms of fishing, passengers and RoRo freight.

The Port of Boulogne-sur-Mer brings together all fishing-industry activities in one place: capture, processing, sale and distribution. With 300,000 tonnes of seafood products processed each year, supply and distribution logistics unparalleled in the sector and its large cold-storage capacity, Boulogne-sur-Mer is the leading food-industry logistics platform in Europe.

The Port of Calais alone processes a third of the sea freight shipped between continental Europe and the United Kingdom. It is also a leading intermodal port and the only port in Northern Europe equipped with a rolling-road terminal connecting Southern Europe to Northern France, Belgium and the British Isles.

These activities are complemented by the traditional activities of commercial terminals and a more limited cruise service
