TIP Group is celebrating 55 years of delivering equipment solutions tailored to evolving customers’ needs.

Established in 1968, TIP first introduced the concept of trailer rental to the Dutch and Canadian transportation market. Since then, the company has expanded its reach into other European countries. Now, TIP Group is recognised as a leading one-stop-shop equipment services  provider, serving customers from a vast network of over 130 locations across 18 countries in Europe and Canada.  Originally focusing on the lease and rent of trailers, the company also extended their offers to provide more comprehensive services, including maintenance and repair for both rented and customer-owned equipment throughout its lifecycle, as well as the sale of used equipment.

Additionally, in 2020, they completed their offers with advanced digital solutions, TIP Insight, to provide customers with real-time visibility and analytics, fostering efficiency in today’s ever-changing landscape. By 2022, TIP Group had widened its scope into a more holistic profile, being a one-stop-shop service provider.

In relation to organisational culture, over the past 55 years, TIP Group has taken different initiatives to foster a supportive working environment, ensuring a safe and empowering workplace. In 2023, the company has been named one of the UK’s Best Workplaces™ for Wellbeing (2023) by Great Place to Work®, the global authority on workplace culture.  The company also provides ongoing career development opportunities for employees such as the recent launch of their two new academies, TIP Sales Academy and the TIP Mechanic Academy, all aimed at helping people improve their skills in related fields. Aside from internal endeavors, TIP Group also contributed to the community through sustainable practices, training initiatives and charity work.

"More than anything, I am enormously proud of our dedicated employees who drive customer service excellence every day across all areas of our business. People are at the heart of our business, and we would not have been able to celebrate this milestone without all their hard
work", says Bob Fast, President and CEO of TIP Group.

Looking ahead, as TIP Group passes another chapter of its journey, it also embraces the future with innovative solutions and greener transportation and logistics solutions. In 2022 and 2023, the company was rated Silver in Ecovadis’ sustainability rating and received several 'top rated' awards by Sustainalitics. "Through the years, we have embraced growth, evolving with dynamic markets while upholding our core values and firm commitment to excellence. Our diverse offerings and continuous innovations have paved the way for setting new industry benchmarks and expanding our global footprint. With sustainability as our compass, we envision a greener future, leaving a lasting impact on generations to come.", says Bob Fast.
