Rory Bremner hosted UK's biggest supply chain event as fifteen awards recognised excellence across air, road, rail, maritime and freight
The Multimodal Awards bestowedast night, Tuesday 30th June, as fifteen awards were presented to the standout businesses and individuals driving the UK's supply chain sector forward. Held at The Vox, NEC Birmingham on the first evening of Multimodal 2026, the UK's biggest supply chain event, the awards ceremony brought together industry professionals from across the sector for a celebration of everything that makes UK logistics tick.
Hosting was one of the UK's best-loved comedians, Rory Bremner, who kept guests entertained throughout an evening that culminated in the Awards' very first After Show Party, with Vanguard Logistics' Ian Gill providing the soul soundtrack to close out the night.
Double Celebrations Two of this year's categories produced shared winners. Assa Abloy and CCL Techlogix were jointly named winners of The Shipper/Partner of the Year Award, while Road to Logistics and Sysco Group shared the title of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Company of the Year, a fitting reminder that some of the sector's best work happens in partnership.

- Air Freight Company of the Year: DHL Global Forwarding
- Road Freight Company of the Year: Ziegler UK
- Rail Freight Company of the Year: Freightliner
- Sea Freight Company of the Year: Maersk
- Port Company of the Year: DP World
- 3PL of the Year: Davies Turner
Excellence Under the Spotlight Assessed by an independent panel of industry experts, the Independently Judged Awards went to:
- The Shipper/Partner of the Year Award: Assa Abloy & CCL Techlogix (joint winners)
- Sustainability Company of the Year Award: Maritime Transport
- Young Logistics Professional of the Year Award: Liam Hammond, CMA CGM
- Technology Company of the Year: Satalia
- Best Warehouse Operation of the Year: Peel Ports
- Customs Technology Partner of the Year: Raft
- Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Company of the Year: Road to Logistics & Sysco Group (joint winners)
Multimodal's Own Honours Selected by the organisers and announced on the night:
- The Multimodal Exhibitor of the Year: Community Network Services (CNS)
- The Multimodal Personality of the Year: Matt Laflin, Kuehne+Nagel
Commenting on the evening, Event Director Robert Jervis said: "Tonight's winners represent why these awards are held in such high regard across our industry. Having opened its doors on Tuesday at the NEC, Multimodal continues until Thursday 2nd July at the NEC Birmingham, with free entry for all visitors. The remaining two days include conference sessions across multiple theatres featuring Multimodal, Logistics UK, UKWA, RFG, CILT, RHA and the IOE&IT, alongside Day Three's dedicated skills initiative for schools and colleges.
