S&S Distribution extends offering

S&S Distribution (S&S) has extended its service offering by introducing UK customs and international freight transport services.

The new services are spearheaded by Head of International Freight at S&S, Paul Black who has extensive experience in organisations within the international freight sector.

The new customs and international freight function handles all aspects of UK customs formalities and manages the international movement of freight from the ideally located site in Tonbridge, Kent.

With a network of partners in Asia, Europe and USA, BIFA and FIATA member S&S has the capability to move goods worldwide by sea, road and air to support customers importing and exporting goods. S&S provides container destuffing, palletisation and distribution throughout the UK.

Paul Black commented:

“We are delighted to have kickstarted our dedicated UK customs and international freight transport services that provide a value-added offering to both new and existing customers.

“With this range of new services, customers have a one-stop-shop at S&S Distribution, with extensive expertise in house to simplify the complexity of import and export transport and customs clearance – that delivers a seamless service catering to their specific international freight needs.

“It is exciting to see that we have already received extensive interest, from organisations importing and exporting a wide range of commodities, most notably foodstuffs, garments, machine parts, IT, and mechanical equipment.

“These new services demonstrate our dedication to meeting the diverse needs of our customers in the ever-evolving logistics landscape, and we very much look forward to helping organisations to streamline their customs and international freight operations.”
