Meachers Global Logistics is opening a new facility in Nursling. This comes after they expanded their partnership with James Hardie, a global leader in fibre cement building materials. The two companies have been collaborating for three years.

Gary Whittle, Operations Director at Meachers Global Logistics, said:

"We are thrilled to deepen our partnership with James Hardie. The addition of warehousing services is a testament to the trust and confidence they have in our capabilities. Our new facility at Nursling estate will enable us to deliver even greater value and efficiency to James Hardie."

Under the new agreement, Meachers will now offer warehousing services in addition to transportation, aiming to streamline James Hardie’s supply chain and support its continued growth. To meet these expanded requirements, Meachers has acquired a new facility on the Nursling estate. A spokesperson for Meachers stated that this new space will help manage the increased volume of work and support the delivery of additional services.

Senior management at James Hardie has praised the reliability and adaptability of Meachers’ services.

Mike Brown, Operations Manager at James Hardie, said:

"We are excited to continue our collaboration with Meachers Global Logistics. Their commitment to excellence and their ability to adapt to our growing needs have been instrumental in our success. The new warehousing services will further streamline our operations and support our growth."

Meachers’ warehouse team will oversee operations at the new facility, providing customized logistics solutions to meet James Hardie’s specifications. This partnership highlights Meachers’ ability to scale its operations and provide end-to-end logistics support for major clients. James Hardie is a global manufacturer of fiber cement building materials with a history spanning over 130 years. They have collaborated with Meachers Global Logistics for the last three years.
