Multimodal, a landmark annual exhibition hosted at the NEC on 11-13 June, and Inside Warehouse Logistics Expo (IWLEX), the UK Festival of Warehousing situated at the NAEC, Stoneleigh (Coventry) on 14-15 May, have formally unveiled a strategic partnership. This alliance aims to elevate the value proposition for their respective communities and stakeholders.

While these two premier events do not compete directly, their focus on complementary areas of the logistics industry and shared relationships with numerous industry associations make this a synergistic alliance.

Multimodal attracts cargo owners and shippers seeking to enhance supply chains, drive sustainability, and explore innovative solutions for their transportation and logistics challenges. In contrast, IWLEX is a specialized exhibition and conference, dedicated to the internal intricacies of warehouse operations, concentrating on everything a warehouse operator requires to optimize efficiency.

The collaboration between the two exhibitions will enhance the overall experience for their visitor audiences by providing enriched knowledge and immersive experiences. This is anticipated to cultivate a fresh, dynamic, and engaged buyer community for the exhibitors of each event, fostering robust relationships and facilitating business transactions.

Robert Jervis, Event Director at Multimodal, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration:

"We are thrilled to have established a partnership with Inside Warehouse Logistics Expo. Both exhibitions share progressive values and a dedicated focus on supporting the communities they serve. We are confident that this collaboration will add substantial value for our exhibitors and visitors, contributing to the ongoing vibrancy of our events."

Nairn Foster, Managing Director of IWLEX, added:

"We are honoured to collaborate with the Multimodal team. Clarion are one of the world's leading event organizers, delivering innovative, market-leading events globally.  Our shared commitment to inclusion, diversity, and innovation aligns seamlessly with Multimodal’s values. We anticipate a cross-pollination of ideas as we work towards creating unparalleled events in the sectors we serve."
