Janssen Group of Companies (Janssen) has announced the acquisition of Maltacourt Global Logistics (Maltacourt), a highly respected and rapidly growing player in the air and ocean freight forwarding industry in the UK. This strategic move further expands Janssen's capabilities in the UK market and reinforces its commitment to delivering exceptional logistics services to its clients.

Maltacourt has established itself as a prominent player in the air and ocean freight forwarding industry. With eight strategically located offices across the UK, they provide services under their brands Maltacourt, Mandarin, and Extraordinair, with a dedicated team of 65 skilled professionals. Their expertise and capabilities perfectly complement the operations of Janssen and Norman Global Logistics (Norman), which became part of Janssen earlier this year. The acquisition of Maltacourt not only enhances the combined business's growth prospects but also enables further expansion of the combined client service portfolio. The combination of Norman and Maltacourt creates an industry leader with numerous opportunities for additional growth in the near future.

Rob Linders, CEO of Janssen said:

"We are proud and excited about the acquisition of Maltacourt and the opportunities it presents for our combined business. The acquisition of Maltacourt aligns with Janssen's strategic growth plans and underscores our commitment to a strong positioning in the UK."

"Especially due to post-Brexit complexities, our seamless logistics operation covering both the EU and the UK provides numerous benefits for our clients."

Matt Beech, Chairman of Maltacourt, added:

"We are delighted to become part of Janssen, and we strongly believe there is no better fit for our business, culturally or strategically."
