Irish Freight Solutions recently hosted a successful education and networking event titled "Frictionless Trade Across the Irish Sea" at the Club McGinleys suite of the Toughsheet Stadium in Bolton. The event brought together industry experts and professionals to discuss best practices for managing the movement of goods between Ireland and the UK.

The event featured insightful sessions and discussions led by experienced speakers. James Wood, Director of Irish Freight Solutions, kicked off the event with an introduction and shared his insights on navigating the Ireland-UK trade corridor. Stephen McAneney, Director of Allied Fleet Services, provided valuable information on navigating customs requirements and regulations post-Brexit.

Attendees also gained knowledge on optimizing sales from Aaron White, owner of Sales Geek Bolton, and received useful advice on boosting marketing impact from Eddie Pigott, Director of H6 Marketing. Ryan Davies, Group Commercial Manager at Irish Freight Solutions, concluded the sessions with a discussion on achieving frictionless trade with Ireland.

Throughout the event, attendees had the opportunity to network with other professionals in the industry and exchange ideas on managing customs, sales, marketing, and overall business strategy for transporting goods across the Irish Sea.

Peter Draper, CEO of SSO Group, commented on the event, stating:

"We found the event very insightful into moving freight to Ireland as we have seen a large increase in demand for deliveries from our customers. The experience of technical customs expertise, freight and marketing was a good mix and flowed well and held my interest. I have come away from the event with a few ideas on how we do things as a business and passed to our operations and sales team."
