Infinity Container Logistics is marking its 10th anniversary with the addition of 24 Krone Box Liner FS10 skeletal trailers to its fleet, increasing container carrying capacity and continuing a relationship with Krone that dates back to the company's founding in 2016.
Based in Felixstowe, Infinity Container Logistics provides container haulage, freight forwarding, storage and warehousing services throughout the UK. Operating more than 250 vehicles, the company serves all major UK ports, with principal operating locations including Felixstowe, Southampton, Peterborough, London Gateway and Lutterworth.
Delivered earlier this year, the new trailers are providing Infinity with versatile equipment capable of handling a range of container sizes and configurations, supporting the company's varied transport requirements.
The Krone Box Liner FS10 features a sliding bogie and versatile container locking arrangements, enabling operators to carry 20ft, 30ft, 40ft and 45ft containers, including two 20ft containers simultaneously. This flexibility allows Infinity to accommodate differing customer requirements using a single chassis type.
"When investing in new trailers, we look for equipment that gives us the flexibility to respond to different customer requirements without having to rely on a number of different chassis types," says Aaron Pilcher, Director at Infinity Container Logistics.
"As we celebrate 10 years in business, Krone continues to be an important supplier to our operation. The FS10 is well suited to our approach. Its sliding chassis design allows us to accommodate different container configurations, while the overall construction and finish give us confidence in the equipment's durability."
The FS10's welded steel chassis is designed for demanding transport applications, incorporating low-maintenance axles, air suspension and electronic braking equipment. Krone's chassis protection process also provides a durable surface finish, combining cathodic dip coating with protective powder coating to minimise corrosion and support long-term service life.
"Krone has been helpful throughout the specification and ordering process, and the trailers have integrated well into our operation. We've been pleased with the equipment and the support we've received," adds Aaron.
With all 24 trailers now in service, Infinity has strengthened its container transport capacity while benefiting from the FS10's ability to accommodate different container configurations without the need for dedicated chassis types.
The Krone Box Liner FS10 forms part of Krone Trailer UK's container chassis range, supported by the company's UK sales, parts and aftersales network.
