Freightliner doubles London Gateway services

Following the formation of the Gemini Cooperation and the decision to relocate calls from Felixstowe to London Gateway, Freightliner has re-engineered its services to handle the extra volumes created there.

The operational challenges were tackled in under 5 months and the result has provided several key benefits for their customers:

Double the number of rail services running out of London Gateway

An improved and optimised train plan - including faster paths providing more efficient rail services

An increase in the number of electric locomotives used across all Freightliner services - providing a more sustainable solution for moving goods across the country.

Freightliner is exhibiting at Multimodal on stand 6070 and DP World is exhibiting on 5070
