With the delivery of its 50th innovative 2WIN trailer from Langendorf, Emons Cargo marks a significant milestone. The new Flexliner, purpose-built for the 2WIN concept, represents another step toward more cost-efficient, effective, and sustainable road transport.
The latest generation Flexliner SDT is a double-deck inloader that emits up to 40% less CO₂ compared to conventional trailers. Thanks to its unique design, a single Flexliner combination can transport up to 64% more volume. In practical terms, two 2WIN combinations can handle the work of three standard truck-and-trailer sets — resulting in innovative transport solutions that help businesses reduce costs, increase efficiency, and improve sustainability.
The tri-axle trailer accommodates 54 Euro pallets or 40 UK pallets and offers a usable loading height of up to 1,800 millimetres per deck. A built-in solar roof further enhances the trailer’s sustainability. The high-quality frame is made of fine-grain steel and strategically reinforced at high-stress points. Independent wheel suspension eliminates the need for a continuous axle beam, creating additional loading space.
For loading and unloading, the Flexliner is equipped with a hydraulic lift capable of handling up to 3,000 kg. The lift is operated via a cable remote control and includes multiple safety features.
Emons Cargo employs the 2WIN concept to offer volume-optimised transport for multiple customers simultaneously. These trailers are ideally suited for non-stackable pallets up to 1.80 metres in height, in sectors such as food, retail, e-commerce, and packaging. The Emons Group now operates more than 180 of these trailers, offering the largest multi-customer 2WIN network for shippers across both Europe and the United Kingdom.
Visitors to Multimodal 2025 will be able to view a large, but miniature of the 2WIN trailer to show clients the benefits thereof. Emons are on stand 1057
