Wincanton has secured a substantial 5-year contract extension with Cormar Carpets owner, Greenwood and Coope Limited, to manage transport and warehousing for the UK-based carpet manufacturer.

As Cormar’s dedicated logistics partner, the contract sees Wincanton manage the distribution centre in Hemel Hempstead, delivering to over 3,000 retailers and across over multiple locations throughout the UK. The operations will involve over 100,000 deliveries per year.

Carl Moore, Managing Director of eFulfilment for Wincanton, commented:

“We’re really proud to be renewing our contract with Cormar Carpets following our eighteen-year history together. Here at Wincanton, we’re very much focussed on scaling alongside exciting businesses with their long-term ambitions in mind. Our solutions are always designed to provide the end-customer with the best possible order experience. It is this collaborative approach that has led to such a strong and long-lasting relationship with Cormar, and we’re excited for what the future holds.”

Craig Marshall, Director of Operations for Cormar Carpet Company, said:

“Service is the cornerstone of our partnership with Wincanton, and we’re delighted to extend our relationship. The next five years promise to be an exciting period of growth as we work together to implement strategies that drive success for both organisations in key areas.”
