Clarion Events nominates Kuehne+Nagel as Official Global Logistics Partner

Market-leading and UK-based global event organiser Clarion Events has selected Kuehne+Nagel as their Official Global Logistics Partner from January 2024 on a long-term contract. The purpose-led partnership will focus on reducing the carbon footprint of exhibitions and setting new standards for the events industry.

Clarion Events organises over two hundred exhibitions around the world, with around one million people visiting its events each year. Kuehne+Nagel will be the exclusive onsite handling provider for those events, which includes storage, lifting services, customs support, traffic management and international freight forwarding. In the US, where the exhibition model differs, Kuehne+Nagel will act as the Official International Freight Forwarder and Customs Broker to enable events like Powergen, Hydrovision and DistribuTech.

Mike Priestley, Director Kuehne+Nagel Expo and Event Logistics UK, said:

“We have worked with Clarion for a number of years and are delighted to announce that they have appointed Kuehne+Nagel for all their events as of 2024. Their trust in our capabilities, along with our shared ambition to drive low-emission solutions, provides a solid basis for a successful purpose-led partnership.”

Clarion Events’ Group Operations Director, Verena Lester, added:

“Clarion is incredibly excited to embark upon this new journey with Kuehne+Nagel. I see our shared emphasis on providing world-class customer solutions and dedicated focus on building a more sustainable future for the global events space as key pillars of a partnership that will drive additional value for both parties in the years ahead.”
