Works both as an in cab monitor and a removable Android device

Leading vehicle camera and video telematics suppliers Centrad, is set to showcase its latest in-cab technology and fleet safety platform at one of the country’s foremost freight transport, logistics and supply chain management expos.

Multimodal, which is set to take place at the NEC Birmingham between 14th-16th June, will celebrate its 15th year of championing all within the logistics industry. Centrad will be exhibiting on stand number 8044.

At the show, Centrad will be exhibiting its industry leading multi-purpose tablet with its advanced docking cradle that works both as an in cab monitor and a removable Android device.

The tablet, which is an Android system can be tailored to individual requirements.  Featuring Centrad’s vehicle check application the system can help drivers conduct walkaround checks as well as its popular Delivery Manager and Proof of Delivery app.

Also being showcased will be the Cen-Safe fleet safety portal that highlights what vehicles are being driven out on the road without the appropriate safety checks. Cen-Safe also flags up when vehicles are being driven unsafely – for instance, excessive speed, acceleration and cornering.

The added benefit of the app is that it provides live video footage being linked to the vehicle’s location.

Geoff Cross, Managing Director of Centrad commented:

“We are delighted to be exhibiting at this year’s Multimodal 2022.

“Now in its 15th year, the show provides an excellent platform for all within the industry to come together under one roof to showcase their latest innovations and solutions that benefit the sector as a whole.

“We are therefore excited to exhibit our tablet and Cen-Safe fleet safety portal and give Multimodal visitors a first-hand look at how they work and the benefits they provide to fleet operators within the industry.”
