bwd (Barron Wood Distribution) has announced its membership with EcoTransIT World (ETW), a leading global platform for calculating energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions across freight transport networks.
By integrating ETW into their traffic management tracking systems, bwd aims to reduce the administrative burden associated with emissions reporting while enhancing data accuracy and consistency.
The partnership marks another significant step in bwd’s sustainability journey, enabling the business to enhance the accuracy of measurement and reporting of its Scope 3 emissions – typically the largest contributor to its overall carbon footprint. Through ETW’s scientifically backed and externally certified methodology, bwd will be able to deliver reliable, auditable emissions data to customers while streamlining internal reporting processes.
