Albacore Systems has delivered a comprehensive cloud transformation project for PS Forwarding Co Ltd, supporting their move toward a more secure, resilient, and future ready IT platform. The project replaced traditional on-premise servers with a private cloud solution, improving system availability while significantly reducing the operational overhead of maintaining local infrastructure.
Working closely with the PS Forwarding team, Albacore designed and implemented a cloud first environment built around Albacore Cloud Environment (ACE) and Albacore Cloud Remote (ACR). This involved migrating users, data, and business systems into the cloud, carefully preparing applications and ensuring thorough testing prior to deployment to deliver a smooth and controlled transition.
The new solution provides staff with a fully managed working environment, including email, collaboration services, office applications, secure device enrolment, and controlled access to cloud hosted business systems. Core applications are now delivered from Albacore’s private cloud, with secure remote access provided through enrolled company devices, removing the need for publicly exposed gateways and strengthening the overall security posture.
Security improvements were a key focus throughout the project. Albacore introduced enhanced access controls and device-based security policies to ensure only approved and managed devices can access company systems and data. This approach supports flexible working while maintaining strong protection around business-critical information.
The migration was delivered end to end by Albacore’s engineering team, from initial investigation and design through to implementation and final cutover. Throughout the process, Albacore maintained close communication with PS Forwarding, ensuring the solution was delivered to a high standard without compromise.
Following completion, PS Forwarding Co Ltd now operates on a modern, cloud-based platform that delivers improved reliability, stronger security, and a scalable foundation to support future growth.
