Albacore Systems, the leading provider of IT services to freight industry customers, has launched a redeveloped version of their Albacore Customer Portal (ACP) solution.
Developed internally by Albacore, ACP is an application that runs on a secure webpage and allows Albacore customers to view declaration information on any Internet enabled device, including phones and tablets.
This simple concept is a key example of Albacore’s commitment to empower their customers and evolve their working practices by improving the visibility of their shipments.
ACP can release users from logging on to their office machines to check on the progress of declarations when they are outside the office. Use cases for ACP include all staff from drivers to department managers.
Additional dashboard customisation and email alerting features are now available in ACP. Email alerts mean that ACP users are made aware of updates to their shipments and this information is delivered to them instead of them needing to manually check the status in the application or the ACP webpage.
