Multimodal 2026 was once again a roaring success with nearly 15,000 attendees packing out Hall 4. Feedback from both exhibitors and visitors alike was outstanding. The free-to-attend supply chain conference streams were well respected across the industry with a theme of sustainability, resilience, technology and people.
Sessions in 2026 were once again presented by Logistics UK, CIOE&IT, RFG, BIFA, UKWA, CCF, CILT and more, ensuring that topical aspects are at the forefront of the sessions and delivered by top-level speakers. Grow with Google hosted three days of social and digital marketing and provided one-to-one mentoring opportunities.
In 2026, the UK logistics industry convergeD like never before
Multimodal stepped up with even more value for attendees: the co-location of Warehouse and Yard (formerly IWLEX and YARDX) in an adjacent, seamlessly connected hall meant a smoother navigation and richer networking across supply chain functions.
At the same time, eDX - the delivery and fulfilment arm of IRX - joined Multimodal under one roof. For over a decade, eDX has equipped online retailers and brands with the tools and insights to streamline last-mile logistics. Now, it’s brought that expertise to the heart of the UK’s most comprehensive logistics event.
Meanwhile, just down the road at Stoneleigh Park, Road Transport Expo (RTX) was in full swing - free shuttle buses linked it directly to the NEC, creating a powerful alignment that made the West Midlands the undisputed hub of UK logistics that week.
From freight forwarding to yard safety, warehouse automation to last-mile delivery - this was the only place where every link in the UK logistics chain cames together.
