With Multimodal 2024 breaking records for attendance, Awards nominations and exhibitor numbers, organisers of next year’s event have already opened registrations for what promises to be an even bigger and better event.
Bringing together the supply chain and logistics community, Multimodal takes place from 17th - 19th June 2025 at Birmingham’s NEC, and is now open for free visitor registrations. Known for facilitating the sharing of expertise, for the first time Multimodal is launching an AI Clinic on the main floor of the event.
It aims to be a ‘one stop shop’ for all things AI, debunking the myths around this fast-paced technology and uncovering the broad range of opportunities it offers. Featuring interactive sessions and personalised consultations, the Clinic will equip visitors with the knowledge and tools to harness the power of AI thanks to a world-class business transformation and AI experts.
The event in 2024 was the most successful to date, with a sell-out exhibition, record visitor numbers and the most ever entries to its industry-leading Awards. Over the three days of the show, 307 exhibitors showcased their products and services to 13,003 visitors – an increase of 6% on the previous year. In addition, the coveted awards ceremony received over 250 entries, beating previous figures.
By registering now for 2025’s event, visitors can look forward to conference sessions across four theatres, which will include slots from Multimodal, Logistics UK, UKWA, RFG, CILT, RHA and the IOE&IT, with the programme being announced early in the new year. Organisers would also like to hear from individuals who would be interested in presenting at one of the conference sessions via https://www.multimodal.org.uk/apply-to-speak.
Those visiting will also benefit from numerous networking opportunities, including a drinks reception which is open to all attendees, and will meet the wide range of exhibitors that have a stand at the event.
One of the highlights of the three days is the Multimodal Awards, which recognise outstanding industry-leading supply chain businesses and individuals. With seats for the awards always selling out, visitors are now being urged to secure their spot for the 17th June evening ceremony as soon as possible. There will be a competition to guess the host (winners getting two free Award Dinner tickets) with further details announced after the prize draw. The full Awards details will be announced before the Christmas break.
