Pall-Ex will officially launch its innovative third-party logistics (3PL) division, Pall-Ex Logistics to the freight and logistics community at Multimodal in June.

Working alongside Pall-Ex’s two successful UK pallet networks, Pall-Ex Logistics 3PL network will offer 250,000 storage spaces across more than 100 vetted and audited member locations up and down the country.

Each location can supply short or long-term storage, fulfilment and distribution solutions for customers during peak seasons or as a complete third-party logistics (3PL) partner.

Warehouse and Logistics Director Carl White who is spearheading the launch said:

“Pall-Ex Logistics 3PL Network opens a wealth of new opportunities as we evolve to become more than a pallet network. By integrating storage, fulfilment, and logistics under one umbrella, we’re offering a robust solution that will enable us to expand into new markets.”

The core of Pall-Ex Logistics lies in its state-of-the-art storage facilities, with its flagship warehouse based in Northampton. Each location offers a variety of options, including ambient, chilled, frozen, external, and bonded solutions, meaning Pall-Ex can store a wide variety of products to their exact specifications.

Commenting on the launch, Managing Director Barry Byers said:

“Innovation is part of our culture and we have identified the synergy of overlaying our 3PL Network onto our express palletised freight networks.

"As a result, our shareholder members across the UK are now enjoying new business opportunities and are able to compete for business that was out of reach. Pall-Ex Logistics will offer market leading solutions to business’s who require multi-location storage or require strategically placed locations in any part of the UK and Europe to easily supply their customers.

“This is a real game-changer for the industry as it opens previously un-tapped storage options which are supported by Pall-Ex's expertise and cutting-edge technology.”

The Pall-Ex Logistics 3PL Network takes centre stage at this year’s Multimodal Exhibition, attendees are invited to Stand 6065 to explore the benefits of this new solution over the three-day event
