Goodman has acquired a 41,700 sqm logistics site in Bermuda Park, Nuneaton (UK). Up to 21'400 sqm of distribution warehouse space will be built on the land. Construction work is expected to start in spring 2019, and the warehouse should be ready for occupation from December 2019
Located north of Coventry, Bermuda Park is a well-established location for distribution and logistics companies, home to a number of leading retailers, manufacturers and third-party logistics providers.
Speaking about the acquisition Goodman's development director Nigel Dolan said:
“Bermuda Park is a prime site for logistics and distribution given its strategic location and excellent transport links. With a shortage of grade A space of this size and clear market demand, we anticipate the development will appeal to logistics companies and retailers operating on either a national or regional basis.” (mw)
