Core Management Logistics has announced that the company has won the Training Award at this year’s UK Warehousing Association awards
UKWA held its Award ceremony at the Dorchester Hotel in London and honours excellence and celebrates the importance of the UK’s logistics industry in today’s economy.
The event this year was in the presence of HRH, The Princess Royal, in recognition of UKWA commemorating its 75th anniversary year. The organisation represents the UK’s logistics industry with over 700 member companies.
The training award goes to the company that demonstrates a significant level of team development with evidence of benefits derived from a commitment to training and education.
Yvonne Fenwick, Head of HR, commented:
“It’s a fantastic achievement for CML to win the Training Award at the UKWA awards. The commitment to training and development of its employees is validated by the company opening a dedicated purpose-built training centre during 2018 and introducing E-Learning facilities with feedback from everyone being overwhelmingly positive.”
