Elddis Transports into Multimodal

Elddis Transport is one of the largest family-owned haulage and logistics providers in the UK. Put simply, if you can buy it in a supermarket, we distribute it.

We commenced trading in 1971 but our history can be traced back as far as 1881.

Today we can offer customers a true 'one-stop shop' logistics service from our seven operational sites in the North East, Worksop and Middleton in Manchester.

Our head office is based in the town of Consett on the edge of the Pennines in north-west Co. Durham.

Elddis Transport's large fleet of 150 vehicles and 280 trailers provide us with the ability to take on small, one-off orders up to full-scale, large logistics solutions.

Our strategic partnerships allow us to cover the entire British Isles, including Ireland and the Scottish Isles, with consignment sizes from a single case to full loads of compatible products and without risk of contamination or damage.

Our long-standing blue-chip clients make the most of our service offering on a national and regional basis and we are proud of our reputation in the industry.

Here at Elddis Transport we operate a 'Say Yes' culture. Whatever your transport and storage requirements we can offer you the perfect logistics solution
