according to The European Logistics Users Providers & Enablers Group
By combining elements of one’s supply chain with those of others, greater efficiencies, cost savings and more opportunities for using alternative logistics solutions might be realised. Naturally the path to a successful collaboration is littered with obstacles: data sharing, trust, communication, sharing of assets such as equipment or IT, common policies and business cultures, finding close matches between different supply chains, and managing and sustaining the collaboration.
But how willing and able are shippers and supply chain managers to explore such opportunities? And what lessons have we already learnt?
The Shipper’s Insight Seminar days, run by the Shipper’s Voice at Multimodal, will explore the benefits of collaboration and what it can do for you.
These free-to-attend interactive knowledge forums will help you learn from the experts.
Supply Chain insight seminars will run during the three-day Multimodal exhibition. The drop in master class sessions will feature panels of up to five industry experts and be followed by pre-bookable one to one surgeries.
The panels will be made up of shippers, forwarders, transport providers and leading associations.
