New look for GBRf
GBRf has unveiled its new look corporate identity, following it's acquisition from First Group by Europorte, the rail arm of Eurotunnel.
The new logo is instantly recognisable as being connected with Eurotunnel. Other news from GBRf, is that they are Britain's most reliable rail freight operator – again! Covering the period May 2008 to April 2009, the figures show that in every period during the last 12 months First GBRf achieved a reliability score of above 99%, with a 99.5% average for the year as a whole. The figures, which measure the number of trains that run as planned, show GBRf had the lowest cancellation rate of any operator in Britain, with fewer than one percent of trains failing to depart as scheduled. Managing Director John Smith said: “At GBRf what has always made us stand out from the competition is our ability to deliver excellence in innovation, customer service and reliability, so I am delighted that the latest figures show we are continuing to outperform our rivals in terms of the number of services we run to plan. Such impressive reliability figures are the result of the hard work and commitment of our staff. The people who work for GBRf are dedicated to providing - and consistently deliver - high standards of customer service. We have never had to cancel a train due to the lack of a driver and the devotion our staff have to the job really is second to none.”
