RedPrairie and ASOS highly commended in Retail Week Technology Awards
Productivity solutions provider RedPrairie Corporation and on-line fashion retailer ASOS have been highly commended in the Supply Chain Excellence category at the Retail Week Technology Awards 2010.
The judges recognised the key role of RedPrairie’s warehouse management solution (WMS) in supporting ASOS’ continued growth and improvements in the delivery of service to its customers. ASOS is currently the UK’s fastest growing online fashion retailer with plans to expand internationally and become the leading online global fashion store and a billion pound company. To date, RedPrairie’s solution has been implemented in two warehouses in Hemel Hempstead. Going forward, the system will be implemented in ASOS’ new 500,000 sq ft warehouse in Barnsley, expected to go live in early 2011. Offering real-time data visibility and integration with ASOS’ delivery management system, the RedPrairie solution has helped ASOS achieve accurate fulfilment of orders, improved delivery and return options and execution of promotional activities.
