Multimodal hosts "Broken Box Business" Masterclass
Running on the first morning of Multimodal 2010, Webster Robertson and Freight Management Solutions are running an interactive Masterclass on the "Broken Box Business"
"Broken Box Business" will analyse the state of the industry today, and suggest a new model for tomorrow. The Masterclass will also cover training as a necessary commodity, as the market struggles to prepare for an upturn, to increase efficiencies and improve P+L. The Masterclass is designed for:- - Senior Managers in the shipping industry
- Shipping Managers
- Ocean Freight Managers
The Masterclass is free to attend for all Multimodal visitors and there is no requirement to pre-register. The Masterclass is being run by:- Alan Robertson - • Alan Robertson is the Director and Owner of Webster Robertson Limited based in Edenbridge, West Kent. He specialises in providing consultancy and special services for the container sector of the maritime industry.
- • Alan is supported by a group of Associates and together they concentrate on improving operational efficiency for their clients.
- • Alan formed Webster Robertson Ltd in 2006 when he completed a 5 year period as Senior Director, Container Supply at CP Ships where he significantly improved the profitability of the business by developing logistics plans, and driving forward cost efficiencies in the container fleet operation.
- • Prior to joining CP Ships , Alan had senior positions within P&O Nedlloyd group including General Manager, International Container Manager and Managing Director, Cambridge Refrigeration Technology.
- • Alan is a graduate of the University of Cambridge.
