Zim's boxships make maiden call at Le Havre

Within the framework of the Israeli shipping company Zim’s EWX service between Asia and Northern Europe, the containerships “Zim Shekou”, “Zim Genova” and “Zim Yokohama” recently made their inaugural stopovers in Le Havre.

Zim’s recently established East-West Express Service (EWX), connects the major Asian ports of Shanghai, Xiamen, Shekou and Port Kelang and North European ports. The three boxships, which were delivered April and August 2007, are some 260 m long, 32 m wide and have a capacity of 4,250 teu and a draught of 12.5 m.
