Lutterworth Ecolighting shines at Multimodal

Established in 1971 as a small family business, Lutterworth Ecolighting began by being heavily involved in agricultural and domestic works and has since developed into a leading electrical contractor within the industrial and commercial sectors.

As the business grew, we became a household name within the local community and manufacturing industry, carrying out a variety of installation and maintenance works.

As the distribution sector began to dominate the UK’s industry and with the development of Magna Park and DIRFT on the company’s door-step, we became more and more involved in the maintenance of large distribution warehouses.

The expanding client base of the company now has names including Eddie Stobart, Asda, Nissan, Balfour Beatty and Exel Logistics. Alongside this, we became involved in the shop-fitting industry and carried out installations at some of the countries biggest stores and complexes, including Harrods, Selfridges and Heathrow airport.

It was during this period that we became aware of the obscene waste of energy and money when lighting the large warehouses on the industrial parks and set out to find an alternative way of doing so.

After many years of exploring the market and testing many different fittings, we became the UK’s main distributor for a range of fittings that had been in use since 2002 and incorporated the technology and quality we had been looking for.

Since then Lutterworth Ecolighting has developed into the leading name in warehouse energy saving lighting solutions and carried out many successful installations for many different companies, including DHL, Cadburys and Kenwood.

As we look to the future, we continue to work closely with our partners, investing time and money into new technology to ensure that as a company, we never fall short of our aims - to be the best at what we do and to provide our clients with a service that is second to none.
