Saint Omer Développement present at Multimodal

Saint-Omer Développement is an economic development agency created in 1998. Three missions have been defined by Saint-Omer Développement within the context of the territorial strategy:

1/ To favour and to assist the development projects of existing companies
2/ To receive new companies and to concretize their setting up
3/ To promote the territory through an aimed economic communication.

Saint-Omer Développement intervenes into the search of premises in the name of entrepreneurs and takeover entrepreneurs and into the search of land opportunities for economic development.

The fact that important shipping companies are located in the area of Saint Omer (glassware industry, cardboard, food industry) is one of the major reasons to explain the presence of many transport companies (high level of bulk and containers transportation, storage, conditioning).

New business parks, situated in the heart of the Euro-region and very near the important canals and roads - A26 and A16 motorways -, are available to welcome companies who wish to install their activities in the area.

These business parks represent 350 hectares of land, of which 50% are already available at very competitive prices.
