Global Logistics Shield confirms Multimodal presence

Global Logistics Shield (GLS) is a 2009 Hong Kong incorporated legal entity offering freight protection services for forwarders and logistics providers. It is a membership organisation of international freight forwarders and logistics providers, which establishes a status of credibility of its members, provides a level of reassurance to those that trade with its members and ultimately includes underwritten protection for members.

Qualifying companies within the scheme are financially protected in case of bankruptcy or insolvency.

GLS is neutral and independent from any single network or association, and is available to all forwarders directly or via participating forwarders or logistics providers networks and associations.
