The Potter Group confirms major presence at Multimodal

The Potter Group is one of the UK’s most progressive and experienced providers of rail and road logistics services, with extensive multi-modal facilities. Its five storage and distribution centres provide more than 1.6m sq ft of warehousing on 250 acres of land.

Three Group centres – Ely in the south east, Knowsley in the north west and Selby in the north – are rail connected, providing access to the main ports and the Channel Tunnel. Goods are received by rail directly into the Group’s warehouses for safe and secure under-cover handling.

With such extensive facilities and more than forty years experience, the Group has all the resources to provide an all-inclusive multi-modal service, from taking deep-sea containers from dockside to an inland terminal by rail, storage and finally onward shipment by road or rail, to anywhere in the country.

As well as general container traffic, The Group has invested in facilities to deal with chemicals, food and paper products, all of which require specialised handling equipment and expertise.
